Anyone can find quality goods like Pendelton or Woolrich in abundance at their local second hand shop– in fact, its brands like that (and their cheaper counterparts) which often epitomize their merchandise. But I was getting sick of sifting through big red and black checkered hunting jackets with beading, faded color, and other general wear and tear, generally priced around $50. I knew that going home meant I would see all the familiar gear, but with additional opportunities. Got a couple of them today, almost direct from the horses mouth, and at the right price.

Thrifting in Portland is truly wear its at. Right next to booze and Phở, its pretty much second to none.
